TEACHING PRACTICE

 1.1   Procedurs of teaching

The first thing we do in the teaching procedure or start learning is to make a lesson plan, the lesson plan that I made is a combination of the Merdeka curriculum from Indonesia and modules from the Philippines. In making a lesson plan after many observations made at Ateneo de Naga University

1.2 Time management and organizing activities

     I teach grade 10 with my partner Anjel. Teaching in grade 10 first prepare a lesson plan made before teaching. lesson plans owned by  Ateneo de Naga high school almost have the same template that starts with elicit, engage, explore, explain, elaborate, and evaluate.

1.3   Classroom management

Class management that I hold and do where before entering the learning material I provide motivation in the form of questions to test the students' knowledge base how much they know about the material. Then enter the material and explain using media slides, in class I give a lot of questions to students and so do students give feedback, so the class is very active

1.4  Problem-solving while teaching and staying in the designated school

After explaining the material in class I also gave some questions in the form of quizzes in the slides that I had made, the post test was part of the lesson plan to see if they understood how much. The next stage is to provide feedback to students if they do not understand,given the opportunity to ask questions;

 

1.5 Others

For a month at ateneo de naga junior high school . I teach in week 4 which is demostration teaching and excange cultur because in class we only have one class but receive several assignments such as being an assistant ship to check some student assignments and also being a facilitator to organize classes before the start of class exams. and some tasks to help teachers

The first day i teach

The first day of teaching on September 25, 2023 is related to the story of Prometheus where on this occasion we made a learning method according to the lesson plan, namely using media slides. The class begins with prayer and also provides motivation in the form of short questions to test their basic knowledge before entering the learning material and displaying objectives. And continued on the slides delivered by Anjel. 

The first day's classes last for 50 minutes from 9:55 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. The learning strategy used is that students must be more active than teachers by providing opportunities for students to express opinions and answer questions given. Also to test whether they focus on learning or not.

After the class we have meeting with Sir Pj and Sir Fromjoo to provide input and feedback on the classroom learning that has been carried out.

Second Day Teaching

The second meeting is teaching by exchanging cultures. Displays slides containing material about Indonesian culture and some habits that are often done. In the class I always give students the opportunity to ask questions about Indonesia. On the contrary, some of Fromjoo's students and Sir Fromjoo

The last session closed the class My partner and I received a gift from Sir Fromjoo in the form of an Atene de Naga shirt which was the end of our meeting in his class
